The Center for Urban Child Policy is committed to building public will and sustaining a political voice for children in Memphis and Shelby County in order to improve the well-being of all children and their families.

We seek to:

• Build a data-rich understanding of the conditions of children and families,
• Identify gaps in the safety net designed to support vulnerable children and families,
• Promote effective policies and interventions to improve the well-being of children and families in Memphis and Shelby County, and
• Provide this information to policymakers and to the larger community.
